"Clive is really outgoing but even he was doing displacement behaviours rather too regularly. We just never realised. The changes you suggested were excellent" (Andy, Uniting Care, NSW)

"Thank you to all the individuals and facilities who have been a part of our programs and left us with some amazing memories. Below is some of the feedback we've received from our previous and current clients".

FEEDBACK RECEIVED
PET THERAPY PROGRAMS

"Being sent to juvie was the worst day of my life. Meeting Cooper was the best".
Female, 14yrs, Punchbowl, NSW - Community Transition Program

"We benefited so much from the program my son and I attended. He was able to play with the other kids and dogs and in doing so learnt how to control his behaviour so that the dogs would continue to interact with him. At the same time I was able to gain confidence in my own parenting skills and chat with other parents. Thank you".
Beth, Redfern, NSW - (Parenting Support Program)

"All my children have been participants of Competent K9's ‘Dog Camps’. It would be my dream that every child in this country could attend one of these camps. The take home messages the children retained are invaluable and the way that the staff were able to include all children regardless of their needs is the best program I have witnessed to date".
Karen Hudson, Bronte, NSW - Recreation Camps

FEEDBACK RECEIVED
PET THERAPY TRAINING

After socialising our dog all the time (or so we thought) from the minute we picked him up, learning to teach our new puppy (hopefully a future therapy dog) to be calm and identify calm behaviour in all great and exciting places and actually being able to practice it and be guided  in real life situations was hands down the most worthwhile thing we ever did for Riley. Thanks so much for giving us and him this opportunity.
Isaac, Cronulla , NSW

"Who would of thought that giving pats and treats to dogs that may one day work with older people would make me this happy. I've had dogs all my life but now that I have difficulty getting around I can't have one of my own. Even on the days when a person might have a young bouncing puppy so they're practicing a distance away from me I still love it".
Audrey Peterson, Matraville, NSW - CK9 Therapy Dog Socialistion Program

"I'm a volunteer with a pet visitation organisation. I thoroughly enjoyed learning a number of new activities that I could do with my dog that both the people I visit and my dog would enjoy. Thanks so much!".
