 I am so grateful for dogs, music, dance but even more excited about the fact that well established services are valuing the role of recreation and play in achieving goals and contributing to the quality of life of individuals. On behalf of Competent K9 I just want to highlight, celebrate and thank the staff with whom I had interactions with at the Ella Centre, Haberfield. The work that... your centre is doing is amazing.
Canine freestyle, creative arts (dog bowl painting, paw print cast), learning new pet care skills (as well as relating the same skills to personal care needs) were some of the categories the various activities engaged in during this animal assisted intervention could be grouped. A big massive thanks for inviting Competent K9 into your circle where your clients are smack bang in the centre ...brilliant stuff!
